Every year, Volunteer Action undertakes fundraising initiatives to fund its work in the local community. These funds raised are vital to ensure the continuation of Volunteer Action within the community.

Fundraising Update 

Spring into Action with Our Annual Fundraising Quiz!

Spring has sprung and so has our much-loved annual fundraising quiz! Quiz sheets are just £1 each, with prizes of up to £50 for the top entries—so get your thinking caps on!

You can pick up your quiz sheet from any of the following local outlets:

  • The Oundle Bookshop
  • Oundle Colemans
  • Volunteer Action offices at Fletton House

Prefer it delivered? No problem—we’re happy to post a copy for £1 + £1 P&P. Just give us a call on 01832 275433 to order.

Would you be willing to help us spread the word? If you’re able to take a batch of quizzes to sell to family, friends, passengers, or befriendees, we’d love your help! Please contact the office on admin@volunteeractionoundle.org.uk to arrange a pack for collection.

THE 200 CLUB

We also have our wonderful 200 Club. Individuals can purchased a number, from 1-200, which is entered into a monthly draw. The prizes each month are

  • First prize = £150
  • Second Prize = £75
  • Third prize = £50
  • Fourth prize = £25

The prizes will be doubled in December. Details of winners are published on the website and on our Facebook page. It is hoped that this will raise £6,000 for our work.

Past Fundraising

Past fundraising has included

  • The annual VA Quiz, published in the run up to Christmas, which is always fiendishly difficult,
  • The Oundle Jigsaw, a jigsaw depicting the Gillian Dolby print ‘Oundle 2’, which raised over £9,000
  • Oundle Playing Cards,
  • Oundle Monopoly, a Business Venture by Oundle School, which raised money for Volunteer Action
  • Cycle Rides
