What is the Group Befriending Scheme?
The Group Befriending scheme offers the opportunity to meet with others in warm and friendly environments. There are various weekly events running in the region where you can just turn up and enjoy both friendly conversation and delicious refreshments which are always provided free of charge. Weekly events that are currently running are:
CORBY - Monday Mornings
Come and join us for refreshments and a chat about our favourite books, although please don’t think you need to be an avid reader to be part of the group. We meet at Corby Library in the Cube (NN17 1QG) on Monday mornings, between 10.30am – 12 noon and we would love to see you there!
KINGS CLIFFE - Monday Afternoons
We practice all sorts of crafting activities and make some beautiful decorative items in our crafting afternoons at Kings Cliffe Active (PE8 6YH). If you enjoy any sort of crafting activity, or if you would prefer to just sit and enjoy the company of others, please come and join us on Monday afternoons, between 1.30pm – 3pm.
CORBY - Thursday Mornings
Please come and join us for a chat with delicious refreshments at our VA Coffee mornings at The Good Bean Café, Priors Hall (NN17 5EB). We meet every Thursday morning, between 10am – 11.30am and we would be delighted of you could join us!
